Seasons in Korea
Spring (late March to early June: average temperatures 13°C to 14°C)
Known as the most romantic season, it’s a season love by both locals and foreigners visiting Korea. Many try to visit during the peak cherry blossom season to witness thousands of blooming pink and white cherry blossom trees all over the country. Other than having perfect weather for a picnic and date, it’s one of the seasons when all Koreans go out and dress for Oscar.
Summer (mid June to end September: average temperatures 25°C to 27°C)
Backpackers who are traveling within a short budget would love this season as they can travel light and fill in the luggage with hauls from Korea. Travellers can enjoy many festivals offered in this season or sit at a café and eat the mouth-watering Patbingsu, Korean dessert.
Autumn (early October to end November: average temperatures 13°C to 14°C)
From photographers to avid hikers, this season would be the best to view and capture the autumn foliage. You can choose from the less challenging, Namsan Mountain to the ultimate favourite, Soraksan Mountain for a hike or photo-shooting of your own. Don’t worry! Bookworms or simply tourists can collect the red, orange maple leaves or yellow ginkos as sentimental souvenirs back to your homeland.
Winter (early December to late March: average temperature -6°C to -7°C)
Those who come from a tropical country would love coming to South Korea to experience snow. Many special activities you can try particularly during winter like for example, skiing of ice-fishing. Fancy a snowy day? Visit in January for a higher chance!

Coins: 10won, 50won, 100won & 500won (use your coins to get some hot drinks from vending machines during winter or simply try to win some dolls from the claw machines).
